Remember that the FAFSA form has undergone changes over the last year in order to make it easier for applicants. Make certain to follow instructions carefully as they apply to the new form.

How do I send colleges my FAFSA information?

On the FAFSA application you can add up to 20 colleges that you are interested in attending. Simply look up the college name in the search option. These schools will receive your FAFSA award information automatically. Be sure to choose the Live on Campus option for out of town schools. This is not a commitment to the dorms, but can demonstrate a greater financial need when working with the colleges. If you need to add/remove schools after you have submitted the FAFSA you are able to go back into the application and edit it once it has processed.

Remember - only one parent will need to sign the FAFSA application using their FAFSA ID
